The great Ghostpoet returns with the second single from his new album Some Say I So I Say Light, set to be released on September 24th. Shot in Iceland by Cyrille de Vignemont, the video for “Cold Win” depicts Obaro Ejimiwe as a man unwilling to leave his life behind, his narrative interwoven with the images of rain drops turning into hobo symbols. You know, those scrawlings left behind by trainjumpers that told other hobos that Don Draper’s dad was a cheap dick. As his first album Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam was nominated for the Mercury Prize, it’s not surprising to see Ghostpoet delivering more moody, intelligent electronic musings.
